European QP Association Nominates Dr Christopher Burgess as new Advisory Board Member
The European QP Association today nominated Dr Christopher Burgess,
Burgess Consultancy, UK, as a new member of its Advisory Board. Dr
Burgess, who moderated the association's first QP Forum from 30 November
to 1 December 2006 in Prague, Czech Republic, accepted the nomination.
Dr Burgess is a Qualified Person and a qualified ISO Guide assessor.
He is also a member of the PDA (USA) OOS Scientific Advisory Board.
"We'd like to thank Dr Burgess for moderating our first forum in
Prague and for taking on the nomination", said Dr Bernd Renger, Chairman
of the European QP Association and Director Quality Control at Vetter
Pharma-Fertigung GmbH in Germany. "We're fortunate to get someone with
his experience on our board, and we welcome his support in advancing the
association and accomplishing our goals."
Dr Burgess will join Dr Renger, the association's Chairman and the
board members Richard Bonner, Qualified Person UK, John Taylor, MHRA, UK
and Rudolf Völler, Office of the Darmstadt Administrative District.
The European QP Association is a new group founded in July 2006 by
the European Compliance Academy Advisory Board – with the goal to
represent Qualified Persons in Europe and to provide them with a
platform for exchanging experience and discussing current challenges.
From the start it received a lot of recognition. More than 500 QPs from
all over Europe have signed up for membership already.
