Tor Gråberg from Swedish Medical Products Agency joins European QP Association Advisory Board
In February 2014 the European QP Association announced that Tor Gråberg from the Swedish Medical Products Agency has accepted the organisation’s invitation to join the Advisory Board.
Mr Gråberg, who is the Agency’s Chief Pharmaceutical Inspector and Head of Drug Inspectorate, was also Chairman of PIC/S (Pharmaceutical Inspection Co-operation Scheme) from 2010 – 2011 and is still the Swedish representative in PIC/S Committee. He will join the Board in lieu of Ian Thrussell who was with the UK Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) when he joined the board, but has now moved on to the World Health Organisation (WHO).
“I am very happy to accept this invitation to join the Advisory Board” Tor Gråberg said. On the other side the QP Association’s Board was very pleased about his acceptance. “It is great news for us”, said Richard M. Bonner, Advisory Board Chairman. “I welcome Tor in our Advisory Board. Together with Edit Szőcs from the Hungarian Agency he will support us in better understanding the regulatory impact of the EU QP regulation. In Tor we have certainly gained an excellent professional who will help to further advance the organisation. Four Qualified Persons from industry are completing the expertise in the Board.”
